Camden Capacity Building Grants:
About the Program:
JAE Enterprises, Inc. has been awarded the 2007-2010 Compassion Capital Demonstration Program Grant to provide training and technical assistance as well as sub-awards to nonprofits that provide services to the city of Camden, New Jersey. Sub-awards and T/TA will total approximately $330,000 per year total resources to be awarded.

About our Company:
JAE Enterprises, Inc. is a consulting firm providing training and technical assistance, capacity building services, program design, grant administration and grant writing services to nonprofits since 2000. JAE Enterprises, Inc. utilizes their SUBAWARD (Strategic Wrap-around And Technical assistance) . Each organization is trained by JAE Enterprises, Inc. staff and acclimated to the features and usage of the 's Capacity Building Tools to provide an immediate impact on the organization’s capacity with an eye toward eventual self-sustainability.
About the Sub-awards:
There will be two types of assistance awards:
1. There will be 5 non-monetary, Training and Technical Assistance Awards given to qualified organizations chosen. These organizations will receive 7 months of Training and Technical Assistance. Recipients of the Training and Technical Assistance Program will be awarded the aforementioned services with a monetary value equivalent to $15,000.
2. There will be 5 Subawards awards. These awards will include: A Training and Technical Assistance Award as mentioned above, and a Sub Award of $33,333.33 each, with specific stipulations.
About Eligibility:
1. To be eligible for a Training and Technical Assistance award, organizations must have a history of providing services to the City of Camden.
2. T o be eligible for a SUBAWARD award, organizations must be physically located in AND provide services to the City of Camden.
About the Application Process:
On or about February 16, 2009 we will release our RFP/Application process. Interested organizations should review the RFP and if eligible, schedule to attend one of the Required Pre-bid workshops.

Final applications will be due by 3 PM on Tuesday April 7,2009.
About Questions:
Questions regarding the RFP must be sent to FAQ@JAEenterprises.com. JAE Enterprises, Inc. will accept emailed questions up to 48 hours prior to the application deadline. Answers will be posted on our website discussion board and covered in our Pre-bid Workshops. Phone call questions will not be accepted.
About Our Mandatory Pre-Bid Workshops.
JAE Enterprises, Inc. will be conducting three, 2-hour Pre-bid Workshops. March 17 - 19. Attendance in at least one is mandatory. Complete information will be disseminated during these sessions, and questions will be addressed. Phone call questions will not be accepted.
About the Other Information:
On or about February 15, 2009, we will activate our calendar of events that will enable you to register for the pre-bid workshops and keep you informed as to upcoming events. Phone call questions will not be accepted.
